Fix 1. Restart Steam PC
Restart your Steam and then launch the game. If that doesn’t help, try to restart your PC and check. More > Sign-in optionsTip: Run Steam as an admin and then launch the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and check. Did not get a solution, then here is another:
Fix 2. Run Call Duty: Black Ops 6 as an Admin
- Open Steam > Library. Right-click “Call of Duty/’ and click on Manage > Browse local files.
- It will open the Game Installation folder. The path is — C:\Program Files (x86) > Steam > steam apps> standard> Call of Duty HQ folder.
- Right-click on the “cod” exe file and select “Properties.”
- Go to the “Compatibility” tab and tick mark “Run this program as an administrator”.
- Then click on “Apply/’ and “0K”
- Launch the game from the installation folder and check whether the problem is fixed.
Fix 3. Modify settings:
- If running the game as admin does not work, mark “Disable full-screen optimizations”.
- Also, tick the mark “Run this program in compatibility mode for Windows 8 or Windows 7. Click Apply and 0K.
- Now, launch the game from the installation folder and check. If the issue persists, then right-click on the cod exe file and select Properties. Go to the Compatibility tab and Uncheck “Run this program in compatibility mode for Windows 8 or 7”. Click Apply > 0K.
Now, launch the game and check. If you are still figuring out how to solve your problem, then one more for you.
Fix 4. Now Call of Duty: Black Ops Firewall/Antivirus
- In Window Search, type “Windows Security and click on it.
- Click on “Firewall and network protection” and then click on “Allow an app through firewall. “Click on “Change settings” and then click on “Allow another app.”
- Then click “Browse” and add Black Ops 6 exe file.
Fix 5. Close Conflicting Unnecessary Programs
- Disconnect the external USB drive and mouse, disconnect additional joystick/controllers, and multiple monitors connected to the PC.
- Unplug the Logitech or Thrustmaster racing wheel.
- End the task for Afterburner, Rivatuner, Hwinfo, Razer Synapse or MSI Dragon Center from Task Manager.
- Close all of your tabs to free up RAM and relaunch the game.
